- You can make an appointment in several ways: - By telephone by calling our centers in Guadeloupe and/or Saint-Martin:

- Online, via Doctolib, for Saint-Martin or for Guadeloupe, 
- By email, by sending us your request with your availability. 
 
- The price of a consultation varies depending on the type of appointment: 
 - Standard consultation
 - Specialist consultation (in-depth assessment with additional examination)- We will inform you of the exact price when you make your appointment. 
- The Clin d'Oeil centers are approved by SOCIAL SECURITY: Sector 1, the highest level of coverage. - Yes, the consultation is reimbursed by Social Security up to 70%* on average. 
- The remainder can be covered by your mutual insurance company depending on your contract up to 30%* on average. 
 - *Subject to conditions, contact your social security center or your mutual insurance company to find out the exact reimbursement terms and amounts. 
- It is advisable to consult an ophthalmologist in the following cases: - Sudden or gradual decrease in vision 
- Difficulty reading, frequent eye strain 
- Blurred vision, visual distortions 
- Light sensitivity or eye pain 
- Regular monitoring for children and adolescents 
- Screening for pathologies (glaucoma, cataracts, AMD) 
 - For a preventive check-up, a consultation every 1 to 2 years is recommended by Social Security . 
- Yes, for a standard consultation or a replacement of glasses. 
- In case of emergency (infection, pain, sudden vision problems), you can go to one of our centers. Outside of opening hours, contact the Emergency Department or the Samu (15) 
- For certain specialized examinations or specific consultations, a prescription may be necessary (we will inform you when you make your appointment ).

On average, between the secretariat, waiting, consultation and creation of your file, plan on approximately 1 hour of presence on site, depending on the complexity of the examination.
